People have a need or a desire to have relationships, a sense of belonging. This need has spiritual roots. Our Lord knew this and He spoke to that need. That is what community or fellowship in the church is all about.

Jesus said “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

Outreach, or the sharing of ones faith, is what we are to do from friend to friend, from person to person. God commissioned us to tell the world about the good news of Jesus Christ... so that none shall walk in loneliness, in despair, in search of community, or in desperate disappointment...and that is our focus at First Baptist Church of Ozark.
