Stewardship Reports
Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly: and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully. Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart: not grudgingly or under compulsion: for God love a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NAS) The Stewardship Committee will seek to develop distinctive Christian stewards through all areas of the church’s life and work. It should endeavor to permeate all teaching, preaching, training and mission work with biblical concepts of stewardship.
The Stewardship Committee is responsible for the following:
1.Developing and recommending an overall stewardship development plan, a unified church budget, and budget subscription plans
2.Advising and recommending in the administration of the gifts of church members and others
3.Using sound principles of financial management
4.Working with the Minister of Administration in the preparation and presentation to the church of required reports regarding the financial affairs of the church.
The Stewardship Committee can help a church give attention to the stewardship aspect of discipleship.
